The fonti lavatoie (trans. “laundry fountains”) are a nineteenth century building used as a water distribution point and as a suitable spot for clothes washing and other domestic functions.

This project recovers a public space by now neglected to turn it, with minor interventions, into a public tourist office. The memory of the water has been preserved by keeping the four internal pools.
